If Zahid or an UMNO & PAS controlled by Zahid and Hadi decide the speaker, Muhyiddin's power will be waning and his survival will be solely dependent at the mercy of UMNO & PAS. If Zahid (a probably unlikely scenario) decides a speaker under the recommendation of Najib, then the speaker will owe his allegiance to both leaders. So there will be a complex power play here.
